This talk will explore the role of osteopathy in finding and supporting “health” in children who have been compromised by brain injury.
Nancy qualified from the BSO in 2003 and was awarded the Gold Medal. After graduation she completed a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
Nancy works in private practice where a significant proportion of her patients are children, including patients with behavioural problems, neurological injury and other learning difficulties.
As the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy’s Head of Education, Nancy manages the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy. She has also been a clinical tutor at the Osteopathic Centre for Children for several years.
Until 2007, she was also part of the BSO’s clinical faculty working at the Beormund School Children’s clinic, treating children who have a diagnosis of severe social, emotional and behavioural problems. She currently delivers the BSO’s Child Development course.
In addition to teaching in the UK, Nancy is a on the faculty of Soma Istituto Osteopatia Milano (Italy) and a visiting lecturer for other european osteopathic institutions.
